Gardening monitor

Occasionally I am pot-watering helper for friends. I am always closely monitored throughout this activity by one or both of their two West Highland Terriers. This is Hamish Esq. (note the bow tie) who moves with me as I water my way round the garden. He sticks close by and, to preserve his energy, only moves out of the way of the hose if it looks like he might get wet. He never comments. Just watches. Maybe he reports back later to a higher being!
