In celebration of 100 years since the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, David Roche Gallery brings together over 180 stunning works of art, design, and technology to highlight Art Deco’s far-reaching effect on how we lived.

Discover the origins of Art Deco, explore its global journey, and see how this distinctive style became a part of everyday Australian life.

From its extraordinary debut in 1920s Paris to its lasting influence on Australian art and architecture, explore the timeless legacy of this modern vision.

Fantastic Forms

Merric Boyd with Rubyrose Bancroft, Stephen Benwell, Nabilah Nordin

This exhibition captures the energy, movement and colour in the expansive creative practice of Merric Boyd (1888-1959). Featuring over 200 drawings and ceramics from the @bundanontrust Collection, in dialogue with contemporary works by Rubyrose Bancroft, Stephen Benwell and Nabilah Nordin, this exhibition celebrates the endless creativity of the human imagination.

This is a Bundanon Touring exhibition and will travel to ten regional and metropolitan venues across Australia from 2025 through until 2028.
